Getting Started
What is Planazing?
Planazing is a travel planning app designed for photographers. Create travels, save locations with coordinates, seasonal times, weather conditions, and equipment notes. Collaborate with friends in real time.
How do I create a travel?
Tap the "+" button on the Travels tab. Give your travel a name, optionally set start and end dates, and add notes. You can add locations after creating the travel.
How do I add a location?
Open a travel, then tap "Add Location". You can place a pin on the map, search for an address, or enter coordinates manually. Add details like type, rating, difficulty, seasonal times, and photos.
Collaboration
How do I invite someone to my travel?
Open the travel, tap the members icon, and tap "Invite". You can share an invite link or enter their email address. They will receive a notification or can join via the link.
What are the different member roles?
Host — Full control. Can manage members, edit everything, and delete the travel.
Admin — Can add/remove members and edit all content.
Contributor — Can add and edit locations, images, and times.
Guest — Read-only access to the travel and its locations.
Can guests edit locations?
No, guests have read-only access. Ask the host or an admin to upgrade your role to contributor if you need to make changes.
Subscriptions
How do I manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions to view, change, or cancel your plan.
How do I restore a purchase?
In the app, go to Settings. Your subscription status syncs automatically with the App Store. If it doesn't appear, try signing out and back in, or tap "Restore Purchases" on the subscription screen.
Account
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Delete Account. You can also delete your account from our web deletion page. This permanently removes your profile, uploaded images, bookmarks, and notification tokens.
Can I change my email address?
Email changes are not currently supported in the app. Contact us at hello@planazing.com if you need to update your email.
Troubleshooting
My data is not syncing
Planazing uses offline-first sync. Your changes are saved locally and sync when you have an internet connection. If sync seems stuck, try closing and reopening the app. Make sure you have a stable connection.
Photos are not uploading
Photo uploads require an internet connection. Large photos may take longer on slow connections. Check that you have granted the app camera permissions in Settings → Planazing. If the issue persists, try restarting the app.
I'm not receiving notifications
Make sure notifications are enabled in your device's Settings → Planazing → Notifications, and that you have enabled notification preferences inside the app (Settings → Notifications).
